Student Housing Information
We maintain nine apartments in Asheville and one in Hendersonville. The Asheville units sleep 3-4 people with a
full kitchen and one full bath. We also have a two-story house that sleeps ten with a large kitchen, dining room,
living room and 2.5 baths.
All beds are single beds. Most rooms have two beds, but in larger rooms, there maybe be up to four beds.
Depending on our schedule, you may have one or more roommates. Students must provide their own bedding and towels.
All apartments, except for the Hendersonville unit, are single gender. Room reservations begin the day before your
rotation starts.
The monthly rate for in-state, non-AHEC funded and for out-of-state is $350/month.A non-refundable $50 deposit
(to be applied to the first month's rent) is required for all non-AHEC program or out-of-state students in order
to secure your reservation.

Please complete the housing application and housing agreement as soon as you know the dates for your rotation.
The Housing Agreement outlines our regulations and represents a contract between you and MAHEC.
Your room will be confirmed upon receipt of the completed application and deposit, if required, and you will then be
sent additional information on your assignment, including maps and instructions.
