Disaster Preparedness for the Medical Office by Martha Salyers Disaster Preparedness for the Medical Office: This presentation details why preparedness is a high priority for the practicing clinician and gives practical approaches to prepare practices for disaster. Resources are offered to assist in outpatient office preparedness.

  2. Disaster Preparedness for Home Healthcare and Hospice Providers by Martha Salyers Disaster Preparedness for Home Healthcare and Hospice Providers: This presentation covers the roles home health and hospice play in disaster preparedness, focusing on three aspects: 1) agency preparedness planning; 2) home health and hospice staff preparedness planning; and, 3) client preparedness planning.

  3. Disaster Preparedness for Long-Term Care Facilities by Martha Salyers Disaster Preparedness for Long-Term Care Facilities: This presentation provides focus for long-term care facilities and their roles during disasters and emergencies. Three are addressed; 1) facility preparedness planning; 2) staff preparedness planning; and, 3) preparedness planning for residents, family and loved ones.
