Books and audiovisuals borrowed from other libraries are usually received at the MAHEC Health
Sciences Library within ten business Days. Rush deliveries are usually delivered within five business days.
Fees for borrowing books and audiovisuals are as follows:
MAHEC Employees or Community Faculty: In support of the NC AHEC mission, your borrowed books or audiovisuals will be delivered at no charge
courtesy of the MAHEC Health Sciences Library.
Primary Customers - individuals working for or as a provider of direct patient care in Western North Carolina:
Regular delivery @$10; rush delivery at $15.
Non-Primary Customers in Western North Carolina: Regular delivery @$20; rush delivery at $30.
