Comprehensive Health Information Sites
MEDLINEPlus: Information on hundreds of diseases, conditions, drugs and wellness issues; medical dictionaries and encyclopedias and current health news, in English and in Spanish.
NC Health Info: Online guide to Web sites of quality health and medical information and local health services throughout North Carolina.
Healthfinder: Prevention and Wellness Information, Drug Interactions checker, News and more. Includes many documents in Spanish.
Family Doctor: Health information from the American Academy of Family Physicians. Handouts are simple one- to two-page documents.
NOAH: New York Online Access to Health. One of the most comprehensive Spanish language sites for health info in existence.
PubMed: PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's search service that provides access to over 11 million citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, and other related databases, with links to participating online journals.
