I completed my undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill and then went on to earn my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University in 2007. My husband Kyle and I came to Asheville in June 2007 so that I could complete an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency specializing in ambulatory care. I am very excited to have joined this wonderful MAHEC team after completing my residency in July 2008. I currently support the geriatric fellowship program by providing multiple clinics at both Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community and Givens Estates United Methodist Retirement Community. I also coordinate continuing education programs at MAHEC for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Western North Carolina. Kyle and I have two cats, Ollie and Buzzy, and are on the road most weekends to visit family and friends. We love the outdoors and are avid sports fans! We are, however, a house divided between the UNC Tarheels (me) and the NC State Wolfpack (Kyle). Go Heels!!!

I grew up in Raleigh, NC and received my undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I completed an ASHP accredited residency in Primary Care in 2005 and became Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy in 2006. I work closely with medical residents and faculty as the inpatient pharmacist for the family medicine service at Mission Hospital. I live in south Asheville with my St. Bernard Casey, and enjoy tennis, golf, volleyball, and hiking. I moved here 4 years ago, and the mountains of North Carolina have become my home.
